This depends on how much you pay. You can book the whole Barn for example and have exclusive use of that kitchen and lounge but this would cost more than booking a single bedroom. The Chalet/Cabins are for exclusive use.

Absolutely. We have children of our own living on site so we are used to and enjoy having children around.  The children’s playground, trampoline and swimming pool are available for guest use. Parents should supervise their children when they are using the pool.  

In most cases yes although we might draw the line at a pet elephant. We have pets of our own including a goat, pigs, cats, ducks and chickens. So check with us first but if you have well behaved dogs or cats they will be welcome.

Our property is smoke-free both inside and outside.

Check in is after 3pm and check-out is before 10am. We try to accommodate requests outside these times but this depends on other bookings. Talk to us about your situation and needs.

Yes, for some of the rooms a complementary Continental breakfast is included. The booking system should indicate if this is the case. For other rooms talk to us about your needs or make use of the kitchens provided.

Yes, we have a menu for hot snack foods. It includes Pizzas chips, wedges etc.

The same menu also lists cooked breakfast options.

This can be arranged. Cleaning this kitchen after use is a big task for our cleaners so we make it available by arrangement. Talk over your needs with us. There are two other kitchens that are ideal for smaller groups.

Yes, there is a self-serve bar that uses an honesty box. For functions or larger groups we can provide a bar-person.

Absolutely. We love hosting functions and conferences. Our facilities and site have been designed and built so that we can host these types of events.

Yes. Instant coffee and tea bags are provided for all rooms. An automatic Espresso machine is also available if you need a fix of real coffee. It makes pretty good coffee. 

Follow the drive, and the signs, past the main house, down the hill slightly then left to the back of the main house. This is the guest entrance and parking area for guests. Knock on the door with the keypad lock. If no answer ring the phone number displayed by the door. 

There is also guest parking beside the Barn.

Yes. There are several BBQs plus a Pizza Oven for guest use. We can also provide Patio heaters if you wish to entertain outside on a cooler evening. 

There are two spa pools for guest use. Please shower before using and replace the covers afterwards.

We have installed a wireless direct connection to a provider that promises us unlimited high speed data. While it may not be up to the highest Fibre speeds that city people enjoy it is more than adequate for streaming Netflix etc. 

Yes. All the TVs in the guest lounges, as well as most of the guest bedrooms, have access to Netflix.

Yes but not as you would expect in the CBD. Spark and Skinny are a bit patchy. Vodafone and 2Degrees are also patchy.

Yes. We have a 12 seater van and a limousine that can transport you by arrangement. Talk to us about your needs.

It is an easy 10 minute drive to the Dinsdale shopping centre in Hamilton.

We are on bore water and tests indicate that it is about as pure as you can get. We do regular tests of the water and all water goes through several filters including UV.
